2015 Day 9: A Precautionary Tale

Neither the elves, nor I had the foresight to know that an elf in a blender is just too great a temptation for a 6-year old boy. My youngest found a stick long enough to allow him to turn on the blender with Larek still in it. Luckily it was on the lowest setting, and there was a combination of North Pole magic, and a mother's reflexes, all of which allowed Larek to get away unharmed (mostly). Now he has taken precautions to ensure that a similar incident will not happen again.

2015 Day 4: Larek Teaches Snowflake Class

Larek is teaching the other elves how to make paper snowflakes today, but they don't seem to be getting it. It looks like Greedle Gold made a sword wheel, Krampus Klone made monster heads, and Krustz made a doily hat.

 
 
 
 

 

2015 Day 3: Larek and Pip try to catch Krampus Klone

Krampus Klone is back, and while he's a reformed elf, he's still crazy, and he's removed all of the drawers from the boys' dresser, and now Larek and Pip are trying to catch him.

 

2015 Day 2: Larek's Return is a Red Carpet Event

The toys rolled out the red carpet for Larek's return today. Many famous toys were there, including a couple of avengers, the Domo Clan, and some dead politicians.

2015 Day 1: Rehabilitated Elves, The More The Merrier

December 1st is the day that we usually see our Elf on the Shelf Larek return, but he himself isn't back yet. Instead, we received an official certificate of rehabilitation for the elves that caused so much trouble last year. Apparently they are not evil any more, and are now working as regular Shelf Elves under Larek, who was promoted to their manager. Two of the elves, Pip, and Krustz, we're here to monitor receipt of the letter. The text of the certificate is below.

Official Certificate of Rehabilitation

​This letter is to inform the Stanley family that the Elves known as Krustz, Pip, Greedle Gold, and The Krampus Klone, formerly of the League of Indignant Elves, have all officially served their sentences for the crimes that they have committed against humanity, and the Stanley family, and are officially deemed completely rehabilitated, and worthy reenter society as reformed elves.

​They have all been reinstated to the position of Journeyman Shelf Elf, and have been appointed to the Stanley household to be retrained and begin reparation for the troubles they caused last year. You have nothing to worry about, they are just normal Shelf Elves now, and will be watching, and reporting to their newly promoted manager, Larek.

​As a precaution, please watch Krampus Klone closely. We are having some trouble achieving an optimal dosage regimen for his mood-stabilizing medications.
